Susan Mae Ortolon, 64, of Orange passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

She was a native and life long resident of Orange; born on July 1, 1947 to parents Edna Mae (Lester) and Robert Pascal Pate. She was a member of West Orange Christian Church. She enjoyed going fishing and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed dearly.

She was preceded is death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pate; husband, Charles Albert Ortolon Sr.; sister, Carol Patricia Pate.

She is survived by her son, Charles “Chuck” Ortolon Jr. and wife, Ada of Orange; sister, Peggy Taylor and husband, Ken of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Justin Zylks, Haley and Teddy Degay, Dillon Elmore; great grandson, Braydon Trey Degay and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 5 pm until 9 pm at Dorman Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10 am at the funeral home; with Rev. Bobby Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll, TX.
